We’ve got another Taylor this week: The Taylor GS6 Acoustic Guitar with the Taylor Expression electronics package. This guitar features beautiful curly maple back and sides, with a solid sitka spruce top. Keeping in line with the GS5 we showcased last week, it has a light sunburst that really makes it pop visually. This guitar sounds great, with the balanced tone that Taylor is known for – check out the video below to hear it yourself!

This week we have a Taylor GS5-E with a beautiful dark sunburst. This guitar is crafted with Taylor’s Grand Symphony body, a red spruce top, and American mahogany back and sides. This guitar features the Taylor Expression electronics package giving you pure, high-fidelity acoustic amplification for a more natural sound. Visually, this guitar is elegant in its simplicity – offering abalone dots and rosette, an ebony fretboard, gold Taylor tuners, and omitting a pick guard.

The much anticipated Eric Clapton Limited Edition 00028 Madagascar Martin Guitars arrived at First Quality Music yesterday. This edition size of 461 total pieces was an instant sell out at the 2009 Winter Namm show. Each guitar’s label was personally signed by Eric Clapton himself. Part of our allotment of these fine guitars were pre sold but the final two, (one Natural and one Sunburst) hit our showroom today. Our Taylor representative stopped by on Friday and left several custom guitars that are on tour with the Taylor Road Show ‘09. Whether you like acoustic, electric or somewhere in between, there’s something here you want to play. Here’s a partial list:

2007 T5C1 – Electric/Acoustic, semi-hollow body with figured flame maple top and red edgeburst finish
